It has almost been 5 years since I began my raw food journey this time around.  Although many people tell me how hard it would be for them to commit to a raw food lifestyle, it has become a regular part of my life and I find it almost effortless.

The first nine months I lost 50 pounds.  At the time I began, I knew I needed to increase my weight training to keep from looking so skinny.  So, I stepped up my strength training.

I knew I had lost a little too much weight, so I worked at gaining back about 8 pounds.  I've been able to maintain this weight for the past four plus years.  I'm seem to hover between 112 and 117.

Recently I bought a bathroom scale for clients that I plan to train here at home.  Now, occasionally, I'll think to weigh myself first thing in the morning.  In doing this the past few weeks, I see that I'm maintaining at right about 116 pounds.  It is a good feeling to know that my body has gotten a set point.

I have now been training clients at LA Fitness for over 2 years and have some private clients I train in their homes or at their own community fitness rooms.  I've decided to also train some women clients in my home.

I purchased a Pilates Power Gym Pro to help with this.  I'm amazed at how many exercise machines it can replicate.  I've started doing some workouts on this and feel my muscles burning that I haven't felt at the gym.  Also, I feel muscles being used that I also haven't felt before (or at least not for a long time).

I'm going to use this to round out my own exercise routine.  It will add variety to my workouts, as well as give me the opportunity to exercise on days when I don't have the time or inclination to workout at the gym.  Since I work at the gym 6 days a week, when I'm done working, I just want to get out of there.  Now I'm able to exercise whenever I have the desire!

If you haven't already, you may want to check out my personal trainer website.  As of now, it
isn't complete (hardly started, in fact), but I do have some information there, and I have some good links you might want to check out.   http://www.vivecapark.com
